Poetry – ‘So much to learn’

So much to learn, so much to unlearn.
So little I know, so much I am unaware about.
So much I silently keep inside,
so much I let out
In the form of screams and shouts.
So many things I fear, so many things I fight.
So many days I win the world,
yet so many days I just sit idle
watching day turn into night.
So many things I cherish, yet so many I abhor.
So many battles I lost,
but someday I might win the war.
On somedays I am the teacher,
at others I am just a naive.
Sometimes my thoughts like being caged,
but sometimes it is freedom that they crave.
Everyday, I try to learn, adapt and change
So many mistakes I have made,
yet so many more left to be made!
